Merry Christmas everyone!  We are excited that our homestudy meetings were completed last week and now just to get the details in place.  I have heard about alot a paper work needed for adoptions but I am begining to have a better understanding of how much - we are only at the tip of the iceberg with it all.  It is all worth in the end.

Look forward to have more entries as we go as I am finding blogging is fun to write and reading other blogs, too.
Thanks for looking at our blog.  Talk to you later - The Narog Family

Thank you for your great interest and support of Carmen.  We are new to blogging and slowly learning the system.  I will look into a follow button.  We would love to connect with Carmen's Christmas Warrior also.

Currently, the country we are adopting from is considering closing adoptions from the US.  Their have been multiple votes that support the proposed law, with clarity expected in the next 1-2 weeks.  We are holding our breath as are many other families.

Thank you for your comments - Katherine

Well, we are excited about the adoption of our newest member, Carmen to our family hopefully within 12 months.  We are currently working hard to get our home study completed and start gathering info for the dossier soon.

We announced it to some extended family members and found a common interest in adoption that we all did not talk about until last night.  The extended family bond has only strengthen with adoption and Down Syndrome.

We are new to blogging and soon opening up our world even more by connecting up with Facebook.  We have been due for a social/media technology update in our lives and so it begins.  A good thing!

Thank you for checking in with us and look forward to the next entry update of our adoption journey.  Let's bring home, Carmen!  Have a good day - The Narog Family
